Prayer

Lord of all, we humbly bow before you at the beginning of a new year. As each new year is a blank page in the book of our life, may we carefully choose how we fill that page. We pray Lord you accept this offering of praise we bring, ourselves, a living sacrifice. We ask that you renew our minds as we seek you as a community and submit ourselves afresh to your will. We confess to you sins in thought, word, and deed, and in what we have failed to do. We are truly sorry. We receive forgiveness through your son. We have peace with God and with one another through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
